* Abbot Jampa Kalsang(Ven.) with thirty fully ordained monks of this monastery are attending the teachings of His Holiness The Dalai Lama and Gelupa prayer( monlam) at BudhGaya which starts in the month of Jan 2010 for the sake of world peace.

* From 4-6th of the sixth month special Consecration ritual, rabne-gelek-char-beb, will performed with tri-dimensional mandala of Yamentaka for the sake of empowering World environment and security.

* From 19-25th of the tenth month Yamentaka self-initiation ritual is performed for a week on the basis of sand mandala with extensive offerings to commemorate Gaden-Ngachoe.

* From 16-22 of the ninth month Vajra-Akshobhya self-initiation ritual is performed for a week on the basis of sand mandala.

* The one and half months summer retreat was completed on 18th Sept, 2009.

* The sand mandala of Heruka which was created earlier was now dismantled after performing the offering of practices for seven days and immersed into the water for the well beings of the Nagas for the world peace, less sufferings, no starvation, no wars and so on.

* Summer retreat has commenced on 6th August and will last till October 21st this year, i.e., for one and half months time retreat. During this period monks sit for retreat, as this time or this season most of the flies, insects and other invisible insects are coming out on the ground. Hence, to avoid stamping and killing of these invisible creatures monks sit for retreat. During the summer retreat four monks are creating the sand mandala of Heruka which take seven days to complete and before creating mandala monks generate themselves as Heruka and create sand mandala.

* On the very auspicious day of the Lord Buddha's first teachings (drukpa TseShi, fall as per the Tibetan Calendar year full moon day date 15th April) 25th July,2009 monks gathered in the temple hall and prayed for the world peace and harmony.

* Four monks have created sand mandala of Yamentaka Shemar red colored on 18th July, the manifestation of Manjushri, for the first teaching anniversary of Lord Buddha which falls on 25th July.

* On 23rd June 2009 coronation ceremony was held for new coming chanting master Thupten Sangpo and Disciplinarian Master Jampa Tsondue. Disciplinarian master Thupten Tsering and Jampa Tsondue were replaced by the T. Sangpo and J. Tsondue. Regional MP of Tibetan exile -Govt., Settlement Representative of Holiness, Local Assembly and many other Govt. and NGOs dignitaries also were present for the coronation ceremony.

* 7th June (Tibetan calendar date 15th Full moon day) falls the very auspicious day for Buddhist people i.e.,- Birthday Anniversary, Enlightenment Day and passing away of Lord Buddha from the worldly life. Hence Sangha community of this monastery have performed special prayers on this day for three days mainly for the widespread of Buddhism on this world

* Traditional ritual cham dancers comprising 31monks including Rinpoche Jampa Kalsang lak, have returned safely from Kalmykia-Russia to Monastery on 5th June after successful performance. During the festival, Hon'ble Mr. Badma K. Salaev, The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Republic of Kalmykia -Russia and other Russian dignitaries were present(See picture below) on that occasion. Monks have also created Chenrezig sand Mandalas for the Kalmykia people.
